Overview
Swiss Rotor Services Long-Line Equipment has been proven in more than 30 years of demanding lift operations. From precision sling loads to heavy transport, the systems are engineered for safety, aerodynamic efficiency, and pilot-friendly handling. Configurable for logging, construction, firefighting, SAR, and aerial transport, they cover payloads from 500 kg to 10’000 kg.
Variants & Applications
- Electrical Logging & Transport Long-Line (TLP_14 / TLP_50)
With integrated cargo hook release, proven in 2’000 hours of operations without maintenance. Recommended with damper to absorb shocks. - Transport & Construction Long-Line (TLL_14 / TLL_50)
Designed for heavy lifts up to 5’000 kg (11’000 lbs). Aerodynamically optimized, avoids tail rotor contact during fast flight. - Non-Electrical Long-Line
Cost-effective, robust, and adaptable to secondary hooks. - Logging Long-Line
Specially designed for forestry operations, available with double hook systems and high durability protection covers.
Components & Accessories
- Swivel Type 1200 / 4500: Prevents rope twisting, sealed bearings, robust slip rings.
- Cone Type 1200 / 4500: End piece of long-line, shock-resistant, with integrated contacts.
- Connectors & Adapters: Allow integration of multiple long-lines or special equipment (e.g. water buckets).
- LH-60 Cargo Hook: The world’s first EC-type certified single cargo hook, 6’000 kg capacity, with permanent magnetic lock and visual open/closed indicator.
- Double Hook: Nubbin system, electromagnetic lock, robust steel design, TBO 1’000 hours.
Advantages
- Aerodynamically optimized: no “plum-shaped” rope sections, no exposed cables
- Proven reliability: thousands of operational hours worldwide
- Flexible: modular system with interchangeable components
- Quick-connect systems: reduce setup and changeover times
- High safety standards: EC certifications, patents, and field-tested durability
